Free while it is in development, and it will stay free for anyone who plays it during that. No account needed to fly — an account only links installs and keeps unlocks after a reinstall.

Windows and Linux
Not available yet. Novera is built to run on both and the work is mostly packaging rather than porting, but there is no download to give you today. The roadmap is where it will show up, and the news is where it will be announced.
What it needs
- Graphics
- Metal, Vulkan or DirectX 12. An integrated GPU from the last few years is enough on the lower presets.
- Memory
- 8 GB, and it will use less on the mobile presets.
- Disk
- About 2 GB — most of it planetary imagery.
- Input
- Keyboard and mouse, or touch. A trackpad works; scroll-zoom is tuned for one.
Once it is running
Reaching orbit takes a clean gravity turn: full throttle, pitch over gradually toward the horizon as you climb, stage when a tank runs dry, and circularise at apoapsis. Press M for the map to see what your orbit is actually doing.
